Listen to yourself goof off

You already know what you are suppose to be doing. It is a matter of if you are willing to do it.  Tonight while learning more about vocalization and better techniques. One of the best techniques was to goof off. For the next two week practice goofing off my wonderful teacher said.  No problem.  The reason being is that you are more relaxed and not analyzing what you are suppose to be doing. You are simple having fun. Listen to yourself when you are reminded to just have fun. A majority of the time you will do your best work and be happier doing it.

Eating is more fun in moderation

Eating is more fun in moderation. On a day to day basis when I am meeting with new clients and friends about how to be more awesome from the inside out. How to eat becomes a big part of the conversation.  Over time these are the three most common choices that I encounter: Not enough, Just right, and Too much. Here are a few examples of what they sound like from people.

Not enough.
My clients will share I dont eat enough because :  I only eat one time a day, I dont like breakfast, I dont want to gain weight, I just dont want to, I never have,  I dont have enough time and so on.

Just right
My clients will share I eat just right because: I eat till i feel full, i drink more water while I am eating, I like the feeling, I eat throughout the day, I like to graze, I am eating to optimize the way I fuel my body, I feel better, my body works better this way and so on

Too Much
My clients will share I eat way to much for breakfast or lunch or dinner, I have to take a nap, I feel tired, I am to fat, I have to wait 30 minutes before going in the water (one of my favorite comments LOL), it is a holiday, sometimes I have to give my self a day to do it and so on.

Which of the following best described you?  and how do you justify your actions.

To conclude eating is more fun in moderation. When you dont enough your body begins to crave, find fatigue easier, higher amounts of stress, more anxiety and more. When you eat to much you are over powering your bodies ability to compensate the break down. along with eating to much it is often coupled with not enough enough. because people dont eat enough and than eat to much or vise versea.

When we choose moderation On a day to day basis when we can find consistency to feed our bodies and fuel our body throughout the day we are more productive. When we are nurturing our body, mind, and spirit we will have a better day. As a result we are able to improve our life styles, make better choices for our lives, and be more awesome from the inside out.

March showers bring April flower?

I don't believe anyone could be unhappy with the outcome of this years early summer. A simple solar flare gives us an early summer vacation from the usual cold weather. And for those of us who love snow dearly can take a trip to the mountains this year for winter play time.  Today the weather is throwing us some march showers and flowers and trees are blooming, birds are singing and rejuvenation of our lives well under way.  Take this time today as the rain falls and waters the earth as a way to reflect on your own life. The seeds you have planted, the dreams you have, and the growth you are wanting to see. March showers bring April Flowers! and your life will grow so long as you are willing too.

Fitness for fun! What being active means and finding what activity you enjoy?

Recently with a large number of my clients and friends are wanting to be more fit for summer time. With March already giving us summer time weather this is only natural. Especially in the midwest where a majority of the population is either coming out of hibernation or being active because of the nice weather. Regardless of where you are at the excitement happens when you find the fun in what you are doing.  Fitness is a glorified word for being active. Being active is doing something other than being motionless or not moving.  Still this fascinated me that people were asking what was the right way to be active. So i began conducting a research study to better understand what being active means.

The primary method to better understand what activities you enjoy are the ones you remember doing as a kid? Some of the answers were, running around the play ground, swinging, running, exploring, bike riding, going for a walk, the jungle gym, four square, backyard sports, and a wide range of others. Culturally this demographic was very diverse and yielded some unique experiences. As a result each agreed that during their younger years they enjoyed so many different activities and in some cases still do today.

Fitness is as fun as you make it. If you enjoy running, triathlons, iron mans competitions, walking, biking, swinging, contact sports, baseball, basketball, softball, kick ball, weight training, power lifting, rugby, track and field, cricket, roller derby mountain biking, hiking, gardening, working out, running around wildly, swimming, rock climbing and a wide range of others we could list.   approach being active with excitement and the ability to enjoy.  The time is now to make fitness fun!
